1105.9 miles puts us just past Des Moines Iowa!
Nice view of the skyline!
Here is a map of 7000 year old settlements near the water treatment plant in Des Moines. So if you are a big fan of Pre Historic settlements or water treatment plants this would be the stop for you!
The Iowa state Capitol is one of only two Capitol buildings to use 5 domes, the other being Rhode Island. There are 4 domes surrounding the main golden one in the middle. Worth a pause on our run? I think so!

A little bit behind
Ok so post your miles from the last few weeks I missed here, including this week, and I will do a bigger update this Sunday or Monday
Sorry for falling behind!
I guess we just really wanted to spend extra time in Lincoln Nebraska!
30 miles for me over the past few weeks.

This puts us in Lincoln Nebraska! State capital and second largest city.
That tall building is the capital building, which is obviously not the typical capital building style we are used to.
While on a break from our run lets see something of particular interest to several members of our team, the international quilting museum!
For those of us not interested in quilts let's head over for a cornhuskers game!
Keep running! Or walking jogging hiking biking etc
