Week 10

Well this week we went to the cabin near west Yellowstone and so did not get nearly as much exercise in, although it did snow every day, we saw buffalo, eagles, moose, woodpeckers, geysers, etc. for further details, check our other blog!

This puts us in Lincoln Nebraska! State capital and second largest city.
That tall building is the capital building, which is obviously not the typical capital building style we are used to.
While on a break from our run lets see something of particular interest to several members of our team, the international quilting museum!

For those of us not interested in quilts let's head over for a cornhuskers game!

Keep running! Or walking jogging hiking biking etc

Avoid the town in tornado season!
This town won the all America city award three times! Pretty impressive huh?

Of interest the first sugar beet processing factory in the US was built near Grand Island.

Keep running!

688 miles puts us a few miles past North Platte, NE.

Interestingly, North Platte is home to the largest rail yard in the world, which is overlooked by the Golden Spike Tower.

Maybe while we take a break from the long run we have been on we can go in the tower and see what its all about

What do you all think....is it the biggest? Looks like a lot of trains to me

Maybe we should catch a train instead of doing all this running!

I didnt get updates from Leslie and Steve and Company, thats probably my fault for not keeping it going! K dont give up on the working out, lets keep going! These are updated as best as I can gather, I think everyone missed a week last week except I had mine and Caitlins totals, so those two are up to date. So if you kept track or want to post your miles from last week on this post or on the week end post this week, feel free to do so and we will add it in!

We passed Cheyenne Wy, and are about 2 miles from the border of Wyoming and Nebraska! Progress!
Apparently our escape starts in Cheyenne Wyoming. Will have to remember that next time I need an escape. haha

So close to the border!
We are currently entering the town of Pine Bluffs Wyoming! There we can find the Texas Trail Museum.
This museum looks pretty amazing, I cannot believe I have never stopped here!

At this museum you can see some old stuff apparently. I looked up info on the museum and from all I can tell it is about part of the cattle drive in the late 1800s. Longhorn cattle.

Can we stop next time?
